Dr. Behrooz obtained her first DDS degree in Iran and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Eric Sprott School of Business, Carleton University. She obtained her second DDS degree and her Prosthodontic Specialty from the University of Toronto. She has been the recipient of numerous awards and has authored and co-authored multiple publications both in Iran and Canada. She is actively involved in teaching established dentists as well as graduate and undergraduate students. She currently serves on the executive of the Build Your Smile Dental Foundation, as a councillor for the American Prosthodontic Society, and Associate Editor for the Young Dentist Dental Journal.
