Meeting of the Academy of Prosthodontics 2023

With the unprecedented rapid-fire introduction of digital prosthodontic technologies, we determined it was time to have a meeting primarily focused on all aspects of digital technologies and digital materials. Scientific Program Chair Dr. Mijin Choi has developed an outstanding program with a fabulous lineup of speakers drawing on the expertise of our own Academy Fellows and guest speakers. Our theme is "Transforming Clinical Prosthodontics With Digital Innovations: A Systematic Analysis of the Digital Workflow." In the scientific tradition of the Academy of Prosthodontics our goal is to have our presenters perform an evidence-based critical analysis of each application of digital technology/software for each step in prosthodontics/surgery workflow and detailed examination of digital materials by materials scientists and inventors. Utilizing on the talent and expertise of our Academy clinicians they will share their research and experience comparing digital- and analogue-workflows in their practice. Dr. Choi’s program also covers a wide range of topics that are sure to have something for everyone. From dental erosion, to cleft lip prosthodontic treatment, to adjunctive neuromodulator therapy, to treatment of advanced atrophic ridge situations.
